INUKSUK

(Written between June 5 and June 7, 2018)

I finally finished INUKSUK, as you can see from the main post image. I would appreciate hearing what you think about it, so leave me a comment 🙂

Whew. The past few days have been filled with moving, emptying boxes, arranging, rearranging, and finding space for all of our empty boxes.

We had an “incident” a couple of days ago. I had left the upstairs door unlocked so Myke could get back inside the house. I went downstairs to lock the door, apparently at the same time Myke tried getting back in the house, upstairs. I came back upstairs and was talking to Mom in our bedroom. I heard pounding on the downstairs door. I ignored it, thinking he would just come back to the upstairs door. I had finished whatever I was doing in the bedroom (upstairs), and just left the room when I heard pounding on the bedroom door. It was Myke, and he seemed pretty upset. I went to the upstairs door and realized it was locked.

Moral if the story: If it can be locked, someone will come around and lock it.

And all this after being harrassed for locking our own house doors in the middle of the day.
