Fish Parade

My first commission is complete!

I am proud to present Fish Parade, a 48″ x 26″ acrylic on canvas painting.

Fish Parade includes a custom-built stretcher bar and a high quality cotton canvas, all parts from Dick Blick‘s online shop.

I started work on the stretcher bar on July 13th, and finally signed my name to the finished painting on August 6th.

I enjoyed the process of painting this, my largest painting project. I used Procreate during the design process to help place the parade of fish, and Pixabay to help figure out the logistics of fish parts and their markings.

This piece will be traveling from Northwest Wisconsin to South Florida, its true home with my in-laws, Little Pa and Little Ma.
