Breaking the Scale

So, my diet seemed like it was going well. I was eating some of the right things during the day, but eating the wrong things at night (cookies, Doritos, cookies…).

However, my scale would not budge from 260. As hard as I tried making better food choices in the evening, I could not shake 260.

Finally. Finally! I made it to 259 yesterday. I was so happy. I thought I was broken. Forever remaining an obese woman. Hot diggity dog, I say.

I celebrated my weight achievement with pizza and two cookies (not six cookies, not four cookies – two cookies) last night.

My scale says right around 258-1/2, but I’m still calling it 259 until I can get a solid answer from my scale, one way or the other. Tomorrow, maybe.
