Painting and composition ideas don’t come to me naturally.
I’ve been watching Sabine Belz and Gerda Lipski on YouTube (they are Abstract Artists) and wonder how they come up with their different layouts. How do they know where to put the paint, the color, or the structure? This is why it is so hard for me to create these abstract pieces. I don’t know where or how to put the color down. Or the coffee grounds or pieces of newspaper.
It is so frustrating!
I will do more research. Watch more Sabine and Gerda. YouTube is my friend. I think.
If anyone reading this is an Abstract Artist, and you have the key to laying out your work with ease, please let me know your secrets in the Comments section. I appreciate it immensely!
In the meantime, below are some of my attempts at abstract painting. Your feedback is appreciated!
